Fellowships

Advance your clinical training through immersive, post-graduate fellowship opportunities that offer hands-on experience, expert mentorship, and a strong foundation in evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and families.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Looking for a fellowship with an expert research & training facility? BCSC accepts multiple post-graduate fellows per academic calendar year, including postdoctoral and social work fellowships.

How It Works:
Accepted fellows can select a major rotation and have the option of also obtaining training in a minor track, should they wish. All training experiences occur across both standard and intensive outpatient programs. All fellows will have the opportunity to provide caregiver coaching and individual skills training, as well as to participate in our therapeutic summer programs.
Major Tracks Include:
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • DBT for trauma
  • Early Childhood/Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
  • Transdiagnostic Treatment Services
  • Evidence-based treatments for impulse control disorders
Supplemental/Minor Tracks Include:
  • Neuropsychological Assessment
  • Complex-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (C-CBT)
  • DBT Family Therapy
  • Selective Mutism (SM)
  • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
  • Youth & Family Gender Identity Program
  • Program Development and Implementation

Why Consider a Fellowship with BCSC?

  • Learn evidence-based treatments in a hands-on environment
  • Experience expert training, supervision, and consultation
  • Develop a range of competencies for future career growth
  • Gain robust experience in multidisciplinary treatment teams

Frequently Asked Questions:

As a fellow how much time will I spend doing clinical work?

Consistent with BCSC’s commitment to training and didactics, fellows will spend at least 35-40% of their time in clinical work (both direct and indirect), and the remainder of their time will be spent receiving individual supervision, group supervision, and participating in multiple clinical rounds, consultation teams, and a variety of peer supervisions.

Working as part of a coordinated multidisciplinary treatment team, the fellows’ responsibilities include providing individual, family, and group therapy to clients between the ages of 3 and 30 and their families. Fellows are expected to co-lead two different groups based upon their track of interest, as well as to assist with our therapeutic summer camps.

The total number of fellows accepted may change from year to year. We typically accept at least two post-graduate fellows per academic calendar year.
