Levels of Care
BCSC offers a full range of evidence-based services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Below is an overview of our levels of care and how we tailor support to meet each client’s unique needs. Connect with our team if you have questions or would like to learn more!
Individual Therapy
At BCSC, we believe therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. That’s why we utilize evidence-based treatments like CBT, DBT, and ACT to meet your unique needs. Our treatment approach is collaborative and is continuously refined to involve new techniques and technologies to better address a wide range of challenges — all in order to help individuals reduce suffering and build a more fulfilling life.
Group Therapy
Our approach to group therapy emphasizes skill-building, mindfulness practices, and peer support to empower individuals to manage life’s challenges effectively. Whether it’s addressing specific issues like trauma, emotional overcontrol, or caregiver stress, or promoting a sense of belonging and support within specific communities, our groups are designed to create a positive and lasting impact through evidence-based modalities.
Family Therapy
We understand that families often struggle with communication, and sometimes, things can be a bit too complex to solve on your own. Our clinicians work with caregivers, children, and siblings to help families untangle patterns of conflict, strengthen boundaries, and improve understanding. Families navigating transitions, blended dynamics, or emotional stress can build practical skills and greater resilience together.
Caregiver Coaching
Caregiver coaching is used to engage family caregivers in (1) developing a deeper understanding of the function of emotions, (2) effective communication around difficult topics and during times of high emotions, and (3) active and focused problem-solving approaches related to family dynamics to improve the quality of family relationships, reduce stress, reduce ineffective accommodations, and improve overall family functioning.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy works to help you and your partner improve your relationship, patterns of communication, and overall emotional connection. Couples therapy can address a wide range of relationship issues, including recurring or unresolved conflict, feelings of disconnection, conflict associated with separation or divorce, disagreement around children or family members, and much more.
I-IOP/I-PHP
Our individualized, intensive outpatient services (I-IOP/I-PHP) provide structured, higher-level support for youth and young adults whose needs extend beyond traditional outpatient therapy. Through a coordinated combination of individual therapy, caregiver involvement, skills training, and additional clinical supports, we help clients stabilize, build coping skills, and transition toward sustained progress while living at home.
